Choosing your university accommodation is more than just finding a great place to live.
There are lots of things you’ll want to consider.
Do you want to be near friends? Would you like to stroll from halls, to the gym, to your next lecture? Or would you like a quiet space to relax and unwind?
At Edge Hill University, creating a home away from home where you can thrive is what we’re all about. Our halls are at the heart of our vibrant and diverse campus community. Each one designed to be a safe environment. Where you can live, study, and socialise. And our halls are great value for money too, with fees below the national average.
Our award-winning campus
Why choose Edge Hill for university accommodation?
The best place for university accommodation
Whatever your idea of home, discover our guide to living on campus and explore the different halls of residence available to you. We’re proud of all our student accommodation. That’s why we’re guaranteeing you a place in our halls for Year 1 of your course. All new first-year undergraduate students, from the UK and EU, starting full-time in September 2023 are eligible. Simply apply before Monday 31 July 2023 to guarantee yourself a room.
If off-campus living is more your thing, there’s a wide choice of private accommodation available to rent nearby. Many students live close to the University in Ormskirk, while others choose Liverpool or local towns like Southport, Wigan and St Helens.
Fastrack accommodation arrangements
If you’re applying for our fastrack programme and require accommodation for the six week full-time element of the course, you’ll need to make two accommodation applications.
- Apply for the accommodation for the six week element of your course first.
- Make a separate application for the accommodation for your subsequent degree.
Once you’ve received an offer of a place on the Fastrack course, we’ll send you all the information about applying for your accommodation.
